We start our activities in the Magical Town of Jalpan de Serra to move to the archaeological site of Tancama, where we will visit the three squares that make up the site. From there we will go to the town of El Lindero to have lunch at the Fonda Las Orquídeas, one of the most traditional of the Ruta del Sabor. After lunch we will visit the Mission of San Miguel Concá, a World Heritage Site since 2003. After an explanation about the iconography of the Mission and a visit to the millenary tree (a centenary ahuehuete tree from whose root springs a spring) we will return to the Magical Town of Jalpan de Serra, and we will have free time for dinner at the Placita del Sabor. Overnight at Cabañas Sierra Gorda.
Our second day of activities begins early in the morning with a coffee at the cabins before moving to the community of Puerto de Animas where we begin a hike on the old Camino Real that will take us to the Historic Center of Jalpan de Serra, a 7km trail with positive and negative slope of 300m. In the center of town we will have free time for breakfast, then we will visit the Mission of Santiago Apostle, we will have breakfast at the Comedor Conchita and visit the Mission of Santiago de Jalpan with free time to visit the center of town. Afterwards we will go to the Jalpan Dam to paddle a kayak before finishing our tour.
