This restaurant is one of the Sierra Gorda’s gems. The decor alone is worth the visit, with walls adorned by regional artifacts, including hand tools and ponchos woven from strips of palm leaves.
While the restaurant’s decor might be worth the trip, the food is the real reason to come. The self-taught chef decided to depart slightly from the traditional cuisine of the Sierra Gorda and now offers cosmopolitan dishes, such as herb-braised chicken. Every day, he cooks up delicious new surprises that come from her reinterpretation of recipes from across the world. Furthermore, he applies same prices as the traditional local restaurants. When in season, Restaurant Lupita also offers dishes incorporating wild flowers common to the region.
